September 11, 2022 - I just returned from the 2022 Suffolk Plein Air Festival and Exhibition - what a wonderful event. I and 38 other invited artists painted the beautiful farms and waterways of the Suffolk area. I met many talented artists, sold artwork, even speed-painted a scene at the Mod Olive restaurant downtown. Great trip!

May 25, 2022 - The 2022 Plein Air Convention and Expo in Santa Fe was a great success. I did a 2-day workshop with Keven Macphereson, sat in many fantastic paint sessions with greats like Lori Putnam, Jim Woodark and Lyn Boyer and painted in many wonderful locations, including Georgia O'Keefe's Ghost Ranch alongside a few hundred other plein air painters.

March 25, 2022 - I am honored to learn my painting “Old Mack” has been juried into the 2022 Suffolk Plein Air Festival and Exhibition which is scheduled for September 6-9, 2022. During this event, artists will paint the beautiful Suffolk-area scenery including the city’s waterways, farmlands, and historic district. Visitors will be able to purchase artists’ works at the exhibition September 9th 7:30 PM-9:30 PM at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.

February 15, 2022 - I'm heading to Santa Fe in May! Delayed 3 years due to covid, the 2022 Plein Air Convention and Expo is back on and scheduled for May 16-21, 2022 in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. I'm very excited for the opportunity to learn from some of the world's top artists and connect with so many artists at this fantastic event.
